We've been growing and evolving the SelfMade product with your help and feedback, and we're excited to announce that we're launching our paid membership plan on October 1st.

This will allow us continue to build new features and capabilities on the platform and market to more clients so that you can get discovered and win more business.

 

What does this mean for you?

As a thank you for being a founding member on the SelfMade, you have the opportunity to receive a free 1-year trial with full access. How do you get it? Publish your profile by September 30th to automatically receive your free 1-year trial. If your profile isn't published by September 30th, you'll still be able to sign up for a plan, receive a free 1-month trial and retain access to your profile and projects.

 

FAQs

Freelancers pay a monthly fee for membership to SelfMade to access our suite of tools. We do not charge clients to reach out to freelancers and we do not take a fee from projects.

We currently have a special offer where you can receive 1 year free if you publish a profile by September 30th. This is our way of saying thank you for being a founding member of SelfMade. If you publish after this offer, you’ll get the free 1-month trial instead.

The free trial lets you explore the tips and tools, build your profile, and start getting discovered by clients. After the free trial is up, we’ll remind you that you’ll be charged based on the monthly or annual plan you selected at sign-up. 

After your 1-month trial, membership with SelfMade is $21/month. Or, you can choose to pay annually for $180 and save $72!

Membership includes freelance tools, tips, and a business profile in the freelance directory. Clients can discover your profile and reach out to hire you for their project.

Access tools to help you freelance. Get templates with pro tips for proposals and contracts. We'll send you an email course to launch your brand, and exclusive discounts from our partners as we grow!

In order to join, yes, you’ll need to provide credit card information. We’ll send you a reminder email that your 1-month trial is up and your regular subscription begins. You can cancel anytime.

Please note: If you publish your profile by September 30th, no credit card is required for the first year!

No! All money made through projects goes directly to you.

You can change your membership at any point from monthly to annual or vice versa.

You can also cancel your membership at any time, and keep full access until the end of your current billing period. Afterwards, your profile won’t appear in the freelance directory and you won’t be able to access tools on the platform. Your profile and all previous work is saved if you decide to rejoin.
